Curbside Canopy Construction

Starting Wednesday, January 22, travelers will notice a new traffic flow in front of the terminal as construction begins on a $5.2 million curbside canopy outside the ticket lobby. This project, designed to provide weather protection for passenger drop-offs, will temporarily impact traffic and passenger operations.

Here’s what to expect:

  • Passenger Drop-Offs: Moved to the outer commercial vehicle curb.
  • Wheelchair and Baggage Porter Assistance: Available at the new drop-off location.
  • Parking: The lot in front of the ticket lobby has been converted to an hourly lot, with free parking for the first 45 minutes to support passengers needing extra time for loading and unloading.
  • Access to Baggage Claim: Drivers may still use the far-left lane to pass in front of the ticket lobby, but stopping will not be permitted during construction.

We appreciate your patience as we work to enhance your airport experience!

Travelers are advised to allow extra time and follow posted signage.

The canopy project, which includes updates to lighting and signage, is expected to be completed by next fall.
